Reasons Why Today Rocks...

Ok so let me break if down for you like this...
I have a cold right now...so I am all congested and sniffly, my voice is going in and out, and i think I'm getting an earache. I just wanted to curl up in bed all day...
But I didn't. Could have called into work...but I didn't...

I'm glad I didn't, because today rocked.

we got off to a rough start, having a sign language test and not doing very well it seems, then taking a long time on my math test which I thought would take like 20 minutes.

Then...I went outside after math, to walk home. There were people everywhere, shorts, t-shirts. It was wonderful, HELLO SUN! The time between school and work was kind of a downer, I watched the end of the movie Salena, which is just super sad. Also I really was not feeling well, and my ear was hurting.

So then I went to work, and i had to sample pizza...which is like the worst thing to sample.
Also, the deli girls kept saying I was cranky...when I totally was not...just sick...and they were actually kinda annoying me...because they would not let it go.

Now that I'm writing this... I am like wow...how was this a good day. haha.

Then finally our collective mood picks up and we are laughing then boom, one of the deli girls falls down, turns out she like hyper-extended her knee, and had to go to the ER.

So then I was like ok they are short one deli girl...so Sarah sweeps in when the other two are occupied with the injured deli girl and I get a bunch of people food...which i love doing.

So then I ran out of pizza samples early...maybe becuase i cut them kinda big so they would make less samples...but that's not the point, anyway moral of the story is I got to help out in the deli like the last 1.5 hours of my shift. I learned how to clean the floor today, so that was actually pretty exciting. I also got people food and washed dishes. How could I enjoy this... I don't know. Maybe the company. Sampling by myself gets pretty lonely. Also I just like learning.

Then I get off work...walk outside...and it is not the least bit cold. It was so warm, it was summer. There was a swarm of mosquitoes by my car. It was awesome.

Then I got home and opened all the two windows and turned the fan on, then went out on the balcony and blew some bubbles, it's like a daily therapy thing. Trust me on this.

Also I got something in the mail from the IRS and I think maybe it is my tax return for like 12 dollars!!! Woooo, but I haven't opened it yet.

Plus...I just had a really tasty pineapple smoothie.

Oh and I drank 3 bottles of water today.

So that was my day, and now I am in a pretty good mood.
